SPA MANAGER – MADRID
(1 POSITION)


Position             : Spa Manager                                      
Reports to        : Spa Director – Head Office
Department      : Spa
Location            : Madrid, Spain


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education          : Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience        : Minimum 2 years in the hospitality industry                         
                          : Previous experience as spa manager or supervisor in a 5 star hotel
Personnel Requirements :
- Solid knowledge of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of the Spanish language will be an advantage
- Ability to make effective and sound decisions
- Able to lead by example
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
- Positive attitude towards leadership and teamwork
- Interest in organizational development
- Well groomed
- International work experience is beneficial
- Ability to relocate as needed


JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise daily operations and staff at Pañpuri Organic Spa. Monitor and ensure Pañpuri Organic Spa’s highest standards are met. Thrive to always exceed guest expectations. Report all concerns in a timely manner.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
 


OPERATION

·         Run the day-to-day operation of the spa
·         Submit incident reports when unusual occurrence happens, or events needing follow up
·         Submit a monthly written report addressing goal and accomplishments from the month and
      following month, as well as summary of sales,
capture rate and ability
      to meet guest requests
·         Set up and maintain open communication with the staff by conducting daily briefings
·         Monitor a communication log for all employees to receive updated information
·         Evaluate Spa performance on a daily basis and take actions when Spa services are slow
·         Ensure cleanliness of Spa is maintained
·         Evaluate and guide staff as needed to improve their skills and performance


FINANCIAL
·         Maintain a summary of daily financial reports and ensure accuracy
·         Summary of petty cash spent and reimbursement
·         Ensure maximum room and therapist utilization to achieve targeted spa profitability
·         Implement cost effective measures to ensure spa operations cost control


PERSONNEL
·         Implement staff scheduling according to spa operations and business demands
·         Oversee the monthly personnel reports and ensure accuracy
·         Compile documentation of holidays, sick days, vacation days and days off
·         Prepare and submit disciplinary forms as needed, accurately track verbal and written warnings for
      violation of policy and/or procedures
·         Conduct performance appraisals in a professional and timely manner


STAFF TRAINING & RECRUITMENT
·         Assist in on-going staff recruitment as necessary
·         Training staff in operational and guest service skills
·         Create programs with regards to on-going English training
·         Identify training needs and implement training plan according to needs
·         Continually monitor pronunciation and explanation of treatments and dialogues
·         Monitor guest relation skills, up-selling techniques and telephone skills
·         Maintain consistent quality of service in relation to standard operational policies and procedures
·         Provide periodic updates to training manuals, and training references, plans, staff schedules,
      guest service, operating standards and procedures.
·         Report to Head Office, compile and submit spa reports in a timely and accurate manner


INVENTORY
·        Oversee inventory of operational supplies and re-order in a timely manner
·         Oversee inventory of retail goods and re-order in a timely manner
·        Responsible for the storage of operational and retail supplies, report loss or spoilage
·         Monitor cost effective usage of all Spa related materials and assets




SENIOR THERAPIST - MADRID
(1 POSITION)


Position            : Senior Therapist
Reports to  
     : Spa Manager                         
Department     : Spa
Location           : Madrid, Spain


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education            :
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Spa Therapy
Experience          : Minimum 3 years experience as therapist
                            : Previous experience as a supervisor/senior therapist in a 5*star hotel
Personnel Requirements :
-Able to communicate effectively in English
-Knowledge of the Spanish language will be an advantage-Willing to teach
  and share specialized skills with the team
-Have a sense of awareness towards clients -Leadership skills
-Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays


JOB SUMMARY:
Support the Spa Manager in the day-to-day spa operations while maintaining the highest standard of services in all aspects of operation. The general responsibilities include provision of exceptional spa services to all guests, report all therapist activities relating to utilization, work schedule & leave balances and implement in-house training program.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

OPERATION
·         Conduct therapist duties
·         Contribute to the high level of services in accordance with the company’s standard
      as prescribed in Standard Operations Manual 
·         Assist in coordinating and supervising staff in professional manner
·         Maintain in-house training program and keep rechecking Standard of Operations
·         Implement therapist working schedule and be responsible to ensure the maximum productivity
·         Provide therapists adequate support  from sick leave to annual leave while maintaining
      the work balance in staff schedule
·         Provide on the job training to new staff member
·         Teach and supervise the treatments when needed
·         Participate in new training programs as required
·         Monitor therapist performance and assist the spa manager in staff evaluation
·         Maintain optimum stock levels
·         Fill in inventory reports accurately
·         Complete all assignments stated by deadlines with the spa manager or supervisor’s guidelines 




THEPARIST - MADRID (5 POSITIONS)


Position           :  Therapist
Reports to      : Senior Therapist and Spa Manager
Department    : Spa
Location          : Madrid, Spain 


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education        : Certification as a qualified therapist from a recognized institution   of spa therapy or its equivalent
Experience      : Minimum 2 years experience in the spa industry                        
                       
: Previous experience as a therapist in a 4-5*star hotel
 
Personnel Requirements
:
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Enthusiastic and a good team player
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Able to handle client enquiries, consultations and sales of services and products
- Able to perform professional facials, massages and body treatments
- Willing to learn  


JOB SUMMARY:
Provide excellent customer service, while performing massage therapies and body treatments as assigned by spa manager or supervisor.  The general responsibilities also include monitoring stock, promoting the lines of products to clients, keeping all working areas and equipment clean and organized.

·         Perform quality massage therapies and body treatments as prescribed

·         Able to answer all questions related to services and identify the benefits
     
or advantages of treatments required to guests
·         Assist with demonstrations and events as required
·         Participate in a new training and refreshing program as required
·         Complete all assignments by deadlines with the spa manager or supervisor’s guideline
