History
At lease 6000 years back
Egypt Extracted Frankincense for cerebration to Ra God of the sun &Myrrh to God of the moon used as massage oil after bath used preservative agent

1928 French Chemist, Rene' Maurice Gattefosse dedicated his life to research the essences of the plants and coined the term "aromatherapy”

Essential is very concentrate! Dilute before any application! Be caution of side effect & toxicity Don’t use directly on skin except lavender
Massage: 1%-2% in carried oil
Bath: 5-8 drops in water
Inhalation: 3 drops in water
Hot&cold compression: 5-6 drops in water
Essential Oil Safety
Never take essential internally unless so advised by your physician
Keep out of reach of children
IAlways dilute with suitable carried oil before applying it to skin
In case of pregnant, lactating or illness, only use under guidance of a qualified aroma therapist
Use with great care on children
Some oil are not indicated for use while pregnancy.Can cause contraction and delivery
Prevent skin transference to baby during nursing
Avoid alcohol consume when using essential oil
Check interaction between medication and essential oil
Using some essential oil may cause photo-toxic dermatitis
Perform skin patch test before using untried essential oil to people with sensitive skin
